Economics: your own water supply

During the 1980s the demand for potable water increased.

With the privatisation of the water authorities, and the change in weather patterns, attention has increasingly focused on the importance of this vital resource.

With prices now running at over £3.72 per thousand gallons plus standing charges, your own water supply can save huge amounts of money: Major users report savings of 80%. A properly designed borehole can pay for itself quickly, sometimes in a matter of months.

Private water supplies offer huge savings to many users, including farms, factories, housing schemes, and leisure centres.

For domestic users in rural areas, often the only way to have water is via a private borehole. Others, who are able to connect to the mains, choose to have a borehole so that the water they drink is of known provenance.

Finance and payback

We are licensed credit brokers and can provide a deal to reduce costs immediately. Repayments may be less than current water bills and payback within two or three years is common, with the added benefit of future ownership.
